GOJHL

Elmira 6 Listowel 3 The Elmira Sugar Kings go 3-for-5 on the power play, scoring two of their goals with the man advantage in the first period. Jordan Caskenette, Jamie Huber and Jakob Lee score for Listowel.

Stratford 3 Guelph 3 (2OT) The Stratford Cullitons blitz the Guelph net with 22 shots in the first period but can only score twice and lose a 2-1 lead as the game stretches on. Stratford ties the game late in the third and double overtime solves nothing. Drew Goss, Hayden Broomhead and Jack Scanlan score for Stratford. The Cullitons outshot Guelph 50 to 20 in the game. Stratford was 0-10 on the power play, Guelph was 1-9.

LaSalle 4 St. Marys 3 (2OT) The St. Marys Lincolns put up a fight against the visiting Vipers but fell in double overtime. St. Marys climbed back into the game after falling behind 2-0 in the first period which included a short handed goal. The Lincolns were able to tie the game with just 12 seconds left on the clock when Brent House scored with the extra attacker on the ice but LaSalle would win the game scoring 1:26 into the second overtime period. Dan Cloutier and Brent House (2) scored for St. Marys.

Western Junior C

Kincardine 3 Hanover 1 The Kincardine Bulldogs and Hanover Barons skated in a disciplined affair with only two power plays aside. And Kincardine's third goal came late in the third after Hanover pulled its goaltender for the extra attacker. Jordan Bell, Zach Freiburger and Patrick Wiejak scored for the Bulldogs with Wiejak's going into an empty net. Denver Hill scored for Hanover.

Wingham 3 Goderich 2 Undisciplined play by Wingahm gave the Goderich Flyers 13 power play opportunities but they were only able to score once on the power play. And that was netted by Trent Michie in the second period. Ironically, Wingham's only power play goal of the game out of five tries came in the third period at the 13:54 mark and off the stick of Josh Perdue. It was the winning goal. Keifer MacInnes, Mitch Deelstra and Josh Perdue scored for Wingham. Trent Michie and Chace Duckworth scored for Goderich.

Walkerton 7 Mount Forest 4 What started out as a close game ended up as a penalty filled disaster for both teams. With the scored tied at three after the second period, tempers could not be contained in the third. Penalties in the final frame ranged from Inciting an Opponent to Fighting to Abuse of Official. Walkerton took the lead for good in the third period, scoring twice within 17 seconds at the 3:59 mark and the 4:16 mark. James McHugh (2), Brooks Nelthorpe, Lachlin Elder (2), Reid Simmons and Tyler Cunningham scored for Walkerton. Doug Ardis, Brad Binkle, Brady Becker and Brian Coyne scored for Mount Forest.
