Some local talent is among 194 players invited to Hockey Canada National Teams’ Summer Showcase in Calgary.
The program is divided into 3 groups with U-17, U-18 and U-20 players playing amongst their own age group.
Stratford's Keaton Middleton will skate in the U-18 group starting on July 31 that will select a team for the 2015 U18 Ivan Hlinka tournament.
A week later Stratford born forward Jared McCann will be in the U-20 group along with Listowel native Roland McKeown as hockey Canada evaluates players ahead of the World Juniors this winter.
Owen Sound Attack prospects Nick Suzuki, Matthew Struthers and Markus Phillips have been invited to the U-17 camp.
