Kippen Native At Jets Development Camp

Defenseman Craig Dalrymple has spent the last few days hoping to impress the NHL brass at the Winnipeg Jets development camp.

The 6'5 Kippen native has been on the ice for the 5 day session that started on July 3 with the final day on Tuesday.

Two groups of players including the Jets top draft picks and prospects have been playing in the practices. Dalrymple is in Group B which includes Brendan Lemieux, the son of former NHL'er Claude Lemieux.

Dalrymple is heading into his senior year at Ohio State of the NCAA. He has 30 points in 82 games at the collegiate level. He is a former Huron Perth Laker and played his junior hockey for the Powell River Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League.

McClure with the Wild: Stratford's Brad McClure, also a former Huron Perth Laker, is skating with the Minnesota Wild. He is at their development camp from July 9-14.
