Pan Am Torch Arrives In Midwestern Ontario Thursday

The long awaited arrival of the Pan Am Torch tours through part of Midwestern Ontario tomorrow.

After ending in Barrie today, the torch will go through CFB Borden, Stayner and Collingwood before being taken through Meaford and ending the day in Owen Sound.

Local track star Hannah Woodhouse will be the torchbearer for Meaford while skier Larisa Yurkiw is Owen Sound's torchbearer.

On Friday the torch will go to Markdale and Flesherton before leaving the region for a week. It returns with a trip through Stratford on Thursday, June 18.

The 2015 Pan-Am games are being hosted in Toronto and around the GTA from July 10 to 26.
