Bill Brown Leaving Wingham Ironmen

The Wingham Ironmen will be looking for a new General Manager after Bill Brown decided to leave his post. After two seasons with the team, Brown will be rejoining the OHL's Windsor Spitfires as a scout.

Brown was the Ironmen's Assistant Coach in 2013/14, winning a Western Junior C title in the team's run to the Schmalz Cup Semi Final. In the following season he served as GM with Wingham finishing first in the league and runners up in Western Junior C playoffs.

In a letter sent to the team, Brown thanked the organization for the opportunities & support that were provided to him during his time with club and he wished the team continued success in the future.

The Ironmen are now looking to fill the vacancy left by Brown's resignation. Anyone who is interested in the GM role can contact the Wingham Ironmen at wingham.ironmen@gmail.com the deadline is June 10, 2015.
