WDCS Students Play Pickleball for "Try Day"

Grade 9 students at Walkerton District Community School played pickleball as part of OFSAA's "Try Day."
Monday's event was organized by school staff members Donnette Wand, Tanya Byers and Karlo Kasap. They were helped by  many senior students including Miranda Lantz, Miranda Emke, Jonah Hudson and Ciara Lark.Participating in "Try Day" makes Walkerton District Community School eligible for up to $700 dollars in new equipment. It also promotes overall fitness and fun.

The Physical Education department at WDCS put the money towards the purchase of pickleball racquet and balls.
