A strong third period gave the Hanover Barons a win at home over Mount Forest Friday night. The Barons scored three straight in the frame for a 4-3 victory.
The visiting Patriots got to work early with Kyle Hunter scoring on the power play less than two minutes into the game. Doug Costanzo would make it 2-0 later in the period. Wendell Cameron would answer quickly with a goal to put the host Barons within one.
In the second the Patriots regained a two goal lead from Doug Ardis. That would be the only goal of the period giving Mount Forest a 3-1 lead.
It was all Hanover in the third. The Barons would score three unanswered goals to take the lead. Brodie Lemay and Justin Graham would even the score with a goal each. Wendel Cameron would pot the winner.
Mount Forsest looks for a win tomorrow against Goderich, Hanover takes a day off before hosting Wingham on Sunday.
