Ruff to host virtual information session on Canada Summer Jobs Program

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP Alex Ruff will host an upcoming virtual information session for employers on the 2027 Canada Summer Jobs Program.

Ruff will hold the session for local employers with information on the program, including eligibility requirements and the application process. The program gives wage subsidies to employers to help hire on youth aged 15 to 30. It gives youth the chance to gain valuable work experience and develop skills to help with future employment.

The 2027 application period is now open, with applications being accepted until Thursday, December 3 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Eligible employers include not-for-profit organizations, public-sector organizations and private-sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees in Canada.

Ruff's session for employers will take place from 2-3 p.m. via Microsoft Teams on Friday, November 13. A meeting link will be provided to registered participants.

Local employers and organizations interested in participating are invited to register at: https://www.alexruffmp.ca/csj.
