The Grey Bruce OPP detachment in Markdale will soon undergo exterior repairs and close to the public for a short time.
Starting Monday, October 26, exterior construction and repair work will close the detachment to the public until November 6.
During this period, members of the public are asked not to attend the Markdale Detachment in person due to ongoing construction activities and potential safety concerns around the building.
Police services remain available to residents if needed. Those who require in-person assistance may attend one of the other Grey Bruce OPP detachments in Chatsworth, Meaford or Wiarton. For non-emergencies dial 1-888-310-1122. Residents should still dial 9-1-1 in emergency situations only.
