Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say three people have been arrested in connection with a break-in last month.
The arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation by the Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) into a break-and-enter in Grey Highlands on September 17.
On Friday, multiple OPP units executed two warrants on separate Grey Highlands properties and arrested a 35-year-old.
They are charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order, and break-and-enter and steal a firearm. Police also seized a loaded 9-millimetre firearm and a ballistic vest.
Police also learned that a 39-year-old Grey Highlands resident and a 47-year-old Grand Valley resident were allegedly involved in the September 17 incident. They are already facing charges pertaining to a break-and-enter in progress on September 25 at a Grey Highlands house.
Both of the latter suspects face multiple Criminal Code charges, while the 39-year-old also faces drug-related and firearm-related offences.
The charges have not been proven in court.
All three suspects are being held pending a bail hearing.
The investigation is ongoing.
