The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) is holding public consultation for an upcoming coastal conservation project in Goderich.
Following coastal resilience drop-in sessions that were held for the project back in July at the Goderich Library, the MVCA is now inviting residents to give more feedback on the Goderich Restoration Complex. That includes the proposed artificial reefs and sand nourishment site located south of the Dog Run.
The details of the project are available through the Navigation Protection Program public notice. It features information about the project, as well as instructions for reviewing project documents and submitting comments to the program. The notice is posted on Maitland Conservation’s website at mvca.on.ca.
The MVCA says that input from the public is valuable and will help inform the ongoing development of this coastal resilience initiative.
