Saugeen Shores Police is looking for tips to help solve a break and enter that saw several firearms stolen from a rural property.
Officers responded to a property on Bruce Road 17 on Sunday for a reported theft. According to police, the break-in occurred between midnight and 5 a.m. on September 20.
Those responsible entered a safe containing the several firearms, reportedly stealing a Winchester 30-06 bolt action rifle; a Remington 12-gauge pump action shotgun; and a 20-gauge single shot straight barrel shotgun and .22 calibre bolt action rifle, both described as very old and the make and model is unknown.
Along with the guns that were taken, a Stihl chainsaw, various Milwaukee power tools and batteries and a DeVinci road bicycle were also reported stolen.
