Downtown Clinton is gearing up for a day of community celebration as the Central Huron BIA hosts Harvest Fest this Saturday, September 19.
Central Huron spokesperson Angela Smith said the fun takes place along Albert Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"We have an antique car show (and) lots of things for the kids to do. Face painting, pony rides, lots of different activities," Smith explained. "There will be a vendors market, music, and food trucks."
Smith shared there will also be carnival games. In addition to classic attractions like bouncy castles, pony carousel rides, rock climbing, and mini-golf, this year’s setup features a dedicated sensory-friendly zone to ensure children of all needs can participate comfortably.
She pointed out the event is free.
Drivers heading into town are reminded that Huron Street (Highway 8) remains closed between Albert Street and Shipley Street for ongoing roadwork through mid-November, so plan for local detours when arriving for the festivities.
