Police on the lookout for truck that fled scene of collision

Saugeen Shores Police is looking for a vehicle that failed to remain at a collision in Port Elgin on Monday.

According to police, a gold Lincoln sedan was sideswiped by a pickup truck while heading northbound on Goderich Street around 9 p.m. Reportedly the truck then brake-checked the sedan causing another secondary collision.

The incident happened near Iving's Drive and the truck was last observed near James Street and Waterloo Street.

Police did not have a description of the truck but said it will have passenger side damage.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-832-2500 or submit a tip through Crime Stoppers.
