The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance (LWHA) has welcomed a new general surgeon to its team.
In a media release on Tuesday, the LWHA announced that it has welcomed Dr. Isabella Graham through its recruitment process. The arrival of Dr. Graham will give the LWHA a two-general-surgeon model now alongside Dr. Mike Saba, who has served as the Alliance’s general surgeon since 2024.
With both surgeons now on staff, this will give the LWHA a greater capacity for surgical services for patients, while also strengthening after-hours coverage capabilities.
Having both general surgeons will also lend more support to the LWHA's Emergency Departments, obstetrical services and growing Breast Health Program. LWHA operates a cross-site surgical program serving Listowel, Wingham and surrounding communities. The program provides a range of general surgical procedures and diagnostic services, including colonoscopies and gastroscopies (EGDs), while also supporting specialized programs such as breast and obstetrical care.
