A severe thunderstorm Tuesday night knocked out power for thousands of customers in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
Heavy rain and strong winds moved through the area, resulting in several downed trees.
According to Hydro One's outage map, there are over 2,000 customers in Tobermory, Lion's Head, and Cape Croker without power as of Wednesday morning.
The municipality said crews are out removing trees and debris from roadways, prioritizing fallen trees that are blocking or affecting traffic.
Residents are asked to use caution while travelling and if they see a tree down or another concerns along a municipal roadway, report it to [email protected].
Hydro One's website estimates power will be restored around 10:30 a.m.
