Motorcyclist killed in three-vehicle Perth East crash

A 61-year-old man died after a motorcycle and two passenger vehicles collided east of Shakespeare.

Emergency crews were called to the crash at the intersection of Highway 8 and Road 104 in Perth East around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old Kitchener man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Perth County OPP said three people from the other two vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The collision kept the intersection closed for several hours while investigators were on the scene and debris was cleared.

Police are asking anyone with information or dash-camera footage of the incident to call them at 1-888-310-1122.
