Police arrest two people breaking into storage units in Clinton

Huron County OPP are continuing to investigate following an arrest of two suspects caught breaking into storage units in Clinton.

According to police, on August 10 just after 12:25 a.m., officers received a tip about a break-and-enter that was in progress on Bayfield Road in Clinton.

Police arrived to the storage unit property minutes later and located two suspects who had forcibly entered a storage unit. Both of the suspects were arrested and have been criminally charged.

A 31-year-old from Rural Route 2 in Granton and a 31-year-old from St. Marys have both been charged with Break, Enter a Place with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence.

Both of the accused were processed and held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Huron OPP. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers.
