A 26-year-old Hanover resident has been charged with impaired driving following a recent head-on crash in Brockton that sent two people to hospital.
According to the South Bruce OPP, on July 24 at 9:25 p.m., officers and local EMS crews responded to a call involving a two-vehicle collision on Bruce Road 4 in the Municipality of Brockton.
Two of the people involved in the crash were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Officers noticed one of the involved drivers showed signs of impairment at the scene of the crash, and they were eventually placed under arrest.
As a result, a 26-year-old from Hanover has been charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation. The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on September 2.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven-days, and the accused's driver's license was suspended for a period of 90-days.
