One person had to be airlifted to hospital after a serious crash between a horse-drawn buggy and pickup truck southwest of Lucknow.
The collision happened on Lucknow Line between Zion Road and Belfast Road in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The male operator of the buggy suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to London hospital, while the pickup driver was not hurt.
The horse was killed in the crash, Huron OPP confirmed.
Investigators have closed the section of Lucknow Line as part of the ongoing investigation. Drivers are asked to avoid the area until the road reopens.
