Hanover will begin the process of decommissioning and removing the old water tower next month.
The town says following the completion of Hanover's new water tower, the existing structure along Seventh Avenue next to the hospital, has reached the end of its service life.
The Town says crews will carefully dismantle the structure in sections, with work occurring Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The removal of the tower is estimated to take 12 weeks to complete.
Access to healthcare facilities, nearby businesses, homes and community services will be maintained throughout the project. Any temporary impacts or disruptions will be communicated in advance.
Project updates will be shared through the Town's social media channels.
