A beach in Grand Bend has been deemed unsafe for swimming heading into the weekend.
Huron Perth Public Health found the level of E. coli bacteria at the Port Blake Beach unsafe following testing on Wednesday.
Those that go in the water could be exposed to bacteria that may cause diarrhea or infections of the ears, nose, throat, eyes, and skin.
All other beaches across Huron County are safe for swimming.
The HPPH inspection team will retake samples at Port Blake on Friday, and retesting results will be shared on Saturday.
