Charges were laid after South Bruce OPP were called about a group of teens causing a disturbance in the Municipality of Kincardine.
The mischief complaint came in just before 12:15 a.m. last Thursday. Police were told the group was causing a disturbance in the area of Saratoga Road. No specifics about the incident were released.
Police stopped a vehicle with the suspect teens inside. While speaking with the driver, the officer reportedly noticed signs of alcohol consumption.
A 16-year-old from Kincardine is charged with being a novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero and being a young driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero.
The teen's licence was also suspended for 7 days.
"Parents were contacted for the youths and transportation was arranged," police said.
