The Town of Goderich is looking to improve how residents and visitors find their way around the community.
Council is expected to award a contract Monday for a comprehensive Wayfinding and Signage Study after issuing a request for proposals last month. The study will examine how people navigate the town and recommend improvements to directional signage for destinations including parks, public facilities, the downtown, waterfront, and other attractions.
The successful consultant will be responsible for reviewing existing signs, identifying gaps, developing a signage strategy and creating a phased implementation plan with cost estimates and maintenance recommendations.
The completed study is slated to be presented to council in late September.
