Some Saugeen Shores residents are being given extra time to pay their June water/wastewater bill.
The town announced on Wednesday that the June water bill delivered by Canada Post may have been delayed due to technical issues with its third-party mailing company.
As a result, residents who have not signed up for pre-authorized debit will have until July 31 to pay the bill.
Those who are enrolled for pre-authorized debit will not be given the extension with the cash to come out of bank accounts as scheduled on June 30.
