Wellington OPP to host auxiliary information session in Teviotdale

Wellington County OPP will be hosting a number of auxiliary information sessions this summer.

One of those sessions will be held Friday, July 3 from 7-9 p.m. at the Teviotdale OPP Detachment, located at 6725 Wellington County Road 109 just outside of Palmerston.

The OPP Auxiliary Unit is made up of dedicated volunteers who work directly with OPP officers in a number of ways, including community events and fundraisers.

These information sessions will provide participants with the opportunity to gain knowledge, insight and helpful advice relating to the Auxiliary recruitment process. The sessions include an overview of how to apply, prerequisites, expectations of an applicant and an overview of how to prepare for each stage of the process. These sessions will benefit those candidates who want to learn more about the OPP recruitment process to ensure that they are at their competitive best before they apply.

You must pre-register to attend and adhere to the cancellation policy, dress code, and instructions on the registration page. Parking will be available on-site. For more information about OPP careers, and a list of upcoming events, visit opp.ca/careers.
