Charges have been laid after an incident that brought a large police presence to Huron-Kinloss earlier this week.
South Bruce OPP were called about an altercation at a home on Amberley Beach Road around 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday. A man took off from the home, leading police to block off an area while officers searched for him.
The OPP aviation unit, canine unit, and emergency response team joined the search. Nearby residents were asked to report anything suspicious.
A 39-year-old man was eventually arrested. He is charged with assault causing bodily harm and failure to comply with release order.
Police noted the man's name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
