Georgian Bluffs alerts residents to missed garbage pick-up dates

Georgian Bluffs is alerting residents who didn't have garbage picked up on Monday of the new date that their waste will be collected.

According to a media release from Georgian Bluffs, Waste Management was unable to complete waste pick-up for a number of areas due to equipment malfunctions on June 15.

Now, waste pick-ups will be completed on Wednesday, June 17 for the following areas:

  • Zion Church Road- from Concession 21-Grey Rd 17

  • Thompson Sideroad

  • Grey Road 17- from Hwy 6 to Wolseley

  • Mountain Lake Road

  • Mountain Lake Drive

  • Patterson Parkway

  • Almur Drive

  • Hindman Sideroad

Residents along these routes are asked to have their waste to be collected at the roadside by 7 a.m. on Wednesday. If you live outside the areas noted above and your waste was also not picked up, you are asked to report it through Contact GB so the town can follow up with the service provider.
