Grey Bruce Public Health (GBPH) officials are hoping for help from the public in regards to an incident in Owen Sound that saw a dog bite a man.
According to GBPH, on June 10 around 7:20 p.m., a large dog, described as brown and white with short hair and floppy ears, bit a man in the commercial plaza at 1815 17th Street East. The dog was with a man at the time of the incident.
Staff with GBPH wish to confirm that the dog is not infectious with rabies, so the victim can avoid post-exposure rabies treatment.
