Perth County OPP are asking for the public's help identifying two people connected to a distraction theft that took place in West Perth last week.
Police say the incident happened shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Investigators allege the victim was entering bank card information at a retail checkout when two individuals observed the transaction and later stole the victim's bank card using distraction techniques.
Officers are now working to identify the two persons of interest.
The first is described as a heavy-set male wearing white running shoes, a baseball cap and a face mask, with short facial hair. The second is described as a medium-build female with light-coloured hair and glasses, wearing a baseball cap, face mask, white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, and carrying a black bag.
Perth County OPP are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
