A kid's bicycle safety day will be hosted in Goderich.
On Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. until noon, kids aged 5-10 are invited with their families to attend the event that will be hosted by the Town of Goderich, the Miller Group, and New Hope Bicycles Ride Smart Program, in partnership with Goderich Canadian Tire store officials.
Check-in will be at the front of the Canadian Tire store in Goderich from 9-10 a.m., with a skills course set up for kids to learn safe bicycle operation.
Volunteers will be on hand to assist with bike fitting, and minor bicycle tune-ups if needed. Pre-registration is required and can be completed at the Goderich Canadian Tire Store prior to the event.
A free BBQ lunch will be served at the event as well as a raffle for prizes for participants. A rain-check date is set for Sunday, June 7.
