A man and woman are facing charges after Saugeen Shores police found counterfeit cash and illegal drugs during an arrest on Tuesday.
Police officers spotted the pair, who were under a court order not to be together, getting out of the same vehicle in the town.
The man and woman were arrested.
A search turned up an undisclosed quantity of drugs and counterfeit money, including a fake $100 bill.
The man and woman, both from Saugeen Shores, are charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of failure to comply with probation.
The woman faces an additional charge of possession of counterfeit money.
The pair have been released from custody and have future court dates.
The discovery of the counterfeit cash came just a couple of days after police had warned business owners about phoney $50 and $100 bills circulating in the community. Police instructed businesses to carefully inspect large denomination bills before accepting them and to report any suspected counterfeit money.
