The Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (GERH) is set to host its annual "Senior Summer Camp" to help the elderly better understand technology.
This year's drop-in session will be held at the Goderich Royal Canadian Legion on June 3 from 9 a.m. until noon.
From 9-10 a.m., Randy Carroll, the Goderich Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 President, will kick off the event with a presentation celebrating 100 years of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Then from 10-11 a.m. seniors can receive one-on-one tech support to learn how to detect scams, online shop, send crafts and recipes, and troubleshoot their devices. Following that, there will be a free BBQ lunch and a chance to connect with other community members.
