Bruce Power is inviting the public to attend upcoming information sessions regarding the Bruce C Project.
The Bruce C Project would see Bruce Power expand it's energy output, adding up to 4,800 megawatts of new nuclear generation on the existing Bruce Power site. The project is currently undergoing a federal integrated impact assessment and is in the impact statement phase of that process.
To educate people on what the proposed project would look like and what it will do for energy creation, Bruce Power will host information sessions across Bruce, Grey, and Huron Counties starting May 14 into June.
The sessions will provide an overview of the project following by open discussions with Bruce Power experts. They are being held throughout the region starting with May 14 in Southampton.
