Bruce County Museum launches survey to guide future

The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is inviting residents and visitors to share their thoughts as it begins work on a new four-year strategic plan.

The feedback provided through the survey will help guide the Museum’s priorities from 2027 to 2030.

According to the Museum, since the development of the last strategic plan, significant changes have taken place locally, as Bruce County continues to experience population growth and increasing diversity, while the cultural and tourism sectors face new challenges and opportunities.

"We want to hear from you," said Museum Director Cathy McGirr in a media release. "Public feedback plays an important role in shaping how Museum services adapt and remain relevant in a changing world."

The survey asks for input on a range of services, including programs and events, educational offerings, facility rentals, and the care of the Museum’s archives and collections. The Museum says responses will also help inform future partnerships, community involvement, and long-term sustainability.

The survey is available online, but printed copies are also available on request at the Museum. Participants will have the opportunity to enter to win one of three $50 gift certificates to Mill Creek Chocolates.

The survey will be open for three weeks and will close on Friday, May 8.
