Two men sought in stolen credit card investigation

Grey Bruce OPP hope the public can help identify two men who allegedly used a stolen credit card in Georgian Bluffs.

The credit card was among items taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on Atkins Street overnight from April 4 to April 5. The card was later used to make unauthorized purchases, police said.

On Monday, police released surveillance images of two "persons of interest" in the case.

The first is described as a Caucasian man wearing a blue baseball cap, a face mask, a black hoodie, blue jeans and brown shoes. The second man is described as Caucasian and was wearing a Toronto Raptors ball cap, a face mask, a beige/green long-sleeve shirt with a black stripe down the sleeves, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Anyone who can identify the men should call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Police are using the incident to remind the public to avoid leaving debit or credit cards and personal identification in unattended vehicles. They also advised drivers to keep vehicles locked.
