Owen Riegling continues to make his hometown proud.
The Mildmay-native has been nominated for four 2026 CMAOntario Awards for Single of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Fan's Choice, and Songwriter of the Year. The single and songwriter of the year noms are for Riegling's hit "Taillight this Town," which he wrote with Kyle Sturrock and James Bell.
The 27-year-old singer-songwriter took home more trophies than any other artist nominated at last year's awards show, winning in five of the six categories he was nominated in. He also went on to win Album of the Year at the 2025 Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA) for his record "Bruce County (From The Beginning)".
This year's CMAOntario Awards will be held at Port Credit Memorial Arena in Mississauga on May 31. They will be hosted by multi CMAOntario, CCMA, and SOCAN Award winner Jason Blaine and Country Nights host Sam McDaid.
Tickets for the 14th annual show go on sale at 11 a.m. on April 6.
