Stratford General Hospital's exterior courtyard will be inaccessible for several weeks.
The hospital has announced that starting Monday the courtyard will be temporarily closed to allow for upcoming construction and maintenance work. The work set to be completed includes new concrete walkways, lighting, and fencing. New plant beds and furniture will also be added to the space. gg
While the work is underway, access to the courtyard entry and exit off of West Gore Street will be prohibited. Those going to the hospital should use the main entry on Cambria Street and parking lot-A or the out-patient clinic entry at West Gore Street and parking lot-E.
The hospital has stated that the closure is necessary to ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff
It is expected the courtyard will reopen in May.
