A pair of tech presentations by the Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (CERH) are helping residents learn about new devices and software.
The first presentation called "Travel and Technology" was held at the Goderich Legion on March 18. The session examined how we plan, navigate, and experience travel. Following the session, Gateway staff helped participants with one-on-one tech support, as people learned about devices, software and got to ask other digital-related questions.
Another upcoming session will be held on March 25 at 9 a.m. at thr Goderich Legion again, titled "So What is AI Anyway?" That presentation will teach participants about what artificial intelligence is, how it is shaping the modern world and how it can be applied practically to everyday life.
In addition, Gateway Centre staff will be at the Goderich Legion every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon to provide ongoing tech support and guidance. Community members are encouraged to drop by for help with devices, software, or learning new technology skills.
