An elderly woman from Listowel died following a two-vehicle crash northeast of Dundalk.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of County Road 124 and County Road 21 in the Township of Melancthon where the vehicles collided just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A 78-year-old Listowel woman was taken to a Collingwood-area hospital where she was later pronounced dead, Dufferin OPP said. The woman's name has not been released.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
