Provincial police in Perth County have released photos of a suspect vehicle in hopes of tracking down its driver after a hit-and-run collision in Listowel Tuesday.
The vehicle, a 2003 to 2012 Grey Mazda RX-8 with a black hood, was involved in a crash at the intersection of Union Street West and Richelieu Avenue South around 2:30 p.m. The driver reportedly left the scene before emergency crews arrived.
Police said no one was physically hurt in the collision.
The vehicle has front-end damage, is missing the front bumper, and has a spoiler, sunroof, silver wheels and a white decal on the rear driver's side window. The two people in the vehicle were only described as White men with long hair.
Police are asking anyone with information or video footage that can help identify the persons of interest or locate the suspect vehicle to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
