A barn fire in Perth East claimed the lives of 140 livestock.
Perth County OPP say that on March 7 just before 5 a.m., police, Perth County EMS, and Perth East Fire Department responded to a reported barn fire on Wilmot Easthope Road in the Town of Gads Hill.
The barn had 140 livestock in it, which unfortunately all perished in the blaze. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
The Office of the Fire Marshall deemed the fire to be non-suspicious.
There is no current estimate on the cost of the damages.
