A concerned citizen is being credited with helping to get a suspected impaired driver off the road in Owen Sound.
Police were notified Thursday by a person who became concerned about a woman who got behind the wheel of a vehicle and drove away after she was seen walking erratically and twitching uncontrollably at a local business.
Police stopped a vehicle matching the description provided and arrested the driver who was allegedly showing signs of impairment .
A folded piece of paper with a white powder, believed to be cocaine, was found during a search of the driver.
A woman is charged with impaired driving and possession of drugs.
