Zorra Township resident charged with child luring and sexual assault

A 22-year-old from Zorra Township is facing child luring and sexual assault charges following an alleged incident involving a young person in Huron County.

Huron County OPP launched a child luring investigation last December after receiving a report of a person claiming to be 17-years-old chatting with a 14-year-old on a social media site.

During the investigation, police determined the17-year-old was actually 22-years-old and had allegedly sexually assaulted the 14-year-old.

Investigators identified the suspect, and placed them under arrest on January 28, 2026.

As a result, 22-year-old Logen Henzer of Zorra Township is charged with two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16-years-of-age, two counts of sexual interference, luring a person under 18 years-of-age by means of telecommunication, luring a person under 16 years-of-age by means of telecommunication, and invitation to sexual touching under 16 years-of-age.

The charges have yet to be proven in court.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich at a later date.

Police add that this investigation is ongoing, and investigators suspect there may be other incidents involving the accused.

An online username utilized by the accused was "farmboy03".
