Heavy fog that has blanketed midwestern Ontario is causing trouble on the morning commute.

A fog advisory is in effect with Environment Canada warning of near zero visibility throughout the region.
Drivers are reminded to switch on their vehicle's lighting system, slow down, and maintain a safe following distance.
The fog will gradually lift as the day wears on.
