A 62-year-old Goderich man is charged with sexual assault following an OPP investigation.
According to Huron County OPP, investigators began looking into a reported sexual assault that allegedly took place in the Town of Goderich in November 2025.
During the investigation, an alleged suspect was identified and was arrested on February 5, 2026.
That alleged suspect has been identified as 62-year-old Donald Carrick of Goderich. The accused has been charged with sexual assault and kidnapping. The charges have yet to be proven in court.
The accused was processed at the Huron OPP detachment, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on March 9, 2026.
