Community Foundation Grey Bruce (CFGB) is accepting applications for a number of different scholarships and local programs.
CFGB is accepting applications now for its Spring Community Grants, supporting charities and non-profit organizations working to improve community wellbeing.
Applications must be in by April 15, and grants of up to $5,000 are available for "projects benefiting the community in the areas of health and wellness, arts and culture, education and lifelong learning, living standards and housing, the environment, and community connections," according to a CFGB media release.
Also, scholarship applications are now open for local students pursuing post-secondary education at university, college, or in the skilled trades.
CFGB is also accepting applications for the Free to Play program, which supports outdoor, unstructured, child-led play for children and youth. Applications close February 24, with $205,000 in funding available for the first call.
To support organizations interested in applying, Community Foundation Grey Bruce will host its Annual Non-Profit Workshop on Tuesday, March 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound. Registration details are available here.
All applications are available through the foundation’s website at www.communityfoundationgreybruce.com.
Organizations are encouraged to confirm eligibility before applying by contacting Kristy Andre, Grants Co-ordinator, at 519-371-7203.
