Survey issued on Seaforth multi-sport court

The Municipality of Huron East is looking at developing a Multi‑Sport Court in Seaforth, and is hoping to get feedback from residents through an online survey.

As part of the process, the Municipality is seeking feedback on which activities residents would like to see included: such as pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, and basketball.

The Municipality says this project is in the very early stages, and is currently dependent on securing external grant funding.

"As we explore funding opportunities, it’s important that we also hear from residents" said Lissa Berard, Director of Community Services in a media release. "Their input will help us understand the level of interest and ensure that any potential project reflects what the community truly wants and needs."

The Municipality says while no final decisions have been made, community feedback will help determine whether the project moves forward and future planning efforts.

Residents can provide feedback through the online survey, which runs until Monday, February 16 at noon. Paper copies of the survey will also be available for pick-up at Town Hall.
