An early morning crash involving a transport truck left a section of Highway 23 near Harriston covered with salt.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Highway 23 between Wellington Road 87 and Wilson Street before 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday. No one was hurt in the crash, Wellington OPP confirmed.
However, the transport truck did spill its load of salt.
Crews have spent the morning working to clean-up the mess. Until that is complete, police are urging drivers to plan alternate routes. An estimated reopening time for the road was not released.
