Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority introduces new way to order spring trees

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) has introduced a new way for property owners to order spring trees for planting.

Now, through the ABCA's Spring Tree Order program, interested property owners can use a new online tree order option.

For those who prefer, there is a hard-copy printed tree order form or a PDF file download available on the ABCA website (https://www.abca.ca/forestry/treeorders/).

Trees are available on a first-come basis and stock availability is limited. Spring tree orders accompanied by payment, and online orders, can be made until February 28.

The ABCA notes they have many different types of trees available for order.

If you don’t have room on your property for trees, you can still help to improve local forest conditions by donating to tree planting through the Footprints to Forests program (https://www.footprintstoforests.com/).
